TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
On August 23, 2017, County Judge C.H. “Burt” Mills, Jr., issued a Mandatory Evacuation Order and Disaster
Proclamation for Aransas County due to impending Hurricane Harvey which was a direct hit to our
community on August 25, 2017. The evacuation order was lifted September 9, 2017. However, due to the
overwhelming devastation to Aransas County, the Disaster Proclamation has been continually renewed up to
and including December 27, 2017, and will continue to be renewed until further notice.
