Help Remains: Disaster Recovery Center Relocates in Aransas County
AUSTIN, Texas – The State of Texas/Federal Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Rockport is temporarily closed. The State and FEMA are working with local officials to identify another location to provide face-to-face help to survivors in this area; the new location will be announced when it opens. Remember, help is just a mouse click, phone call or a tap on the FEMA app away.

Until the new Rockport DRC reopens, the nearest DRC is at the following location:

San Patricio County
Myers/Gallagher Real Estate Co. (Side Parking Lot)
109 W. Wilson Ave.
Aransas Pass, TX 78366
Hours: Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Even though the deadline to apply for a U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) loan for property damage has passed, small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofit organizations of any size still have until
May 25 to apply for an economic injury disaster loan to help meet working capital needs caused by the disaster. Economic injury assistance is available regardless of whether the business suffered any property damage. Business owners may apply online using SBA’s secure website at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela.
